Third Reich / End of war : 1945 Souvenir Medallion of Nürnberg.

Light-weight bronzed alloy medallion, 40mm dia produced at the end of the war as a souvenir for American troops occupying Bavaria. The obverse shows a view of the old city of Nürnberg (Nuremberg) whilst the reverse simply has "Bavaria 1945". Excellent condition and scarce.
