Weimar : German Reichswehr-era Badge Commemorating the 40th Anniversary in 1928 of the Establishment of the Krieger & Veterans League in Haidhausen,

Stamped silver metal rectangular pin-back "tinnie-type" badge showing a kitted-out helmeted soldier holding a flag overlooking the twin towers of the Frauenkirche in Munich. The badge carries an abbreviated text referring to the 40th Anniversary celebration of the establishment of the War & Veterans Association in Haidhausen, Munich and is dated 1928.
The reverse still bears the original manufacturer's paper label of Deschler u.Sohn, München 9.
