Imperial ; German Badge Commemorating the 50th Jubilee of the 70th (8th Rhenish) Infantry Regiment.

Stamped silvered-metal pin-back badge marking the golden jubilee (1860 - 1910) of the 70th (8th Rhenisch) Infantry Regiment which was garrisoned at Saarbrücken and formed part of XXI Armee Korps. The badge has two silk streamer-ribbons in the national colours and on the reverse the pin-mount is stamped "Ruckert Mainz". The badge is in excellent condition though the silk ribbon is naturally starting to show its age.
