Royal Army Medical Corps (RAMC) Forage-cap.

Maroon and black "fore 'n aft " forage-cap with Staybrite buttons and Queen's crown cap-badge. The slider fixing on the cap-badge is stamped with the maker's name 'London Badge & Button Co Ltd'. Although the cap is not dated, it appears to be older than the badges and is probably a pre-1953 cap which continued in use after the Queen came to the throne. There are some minor moth traces on the maroon upper sections.
