USA : Army Military Achievement Medal Set Complete in presentation-case.

Octagonal bronze medal with pin-back ribbon in lined and fitted plastic presentation case complete with the service-ribbon bar and enameled lapel badge. The medal still has its protective celluloid blister.
The medal was instituted: on 1st August 1981 for award to members of the Armed Forces below the rank of colonel who, while serving in any capacity with the Army in a non-combat area, distinguish themselves by outstanding achievement or meritorious service, but not of a nature that would warrant the award of an Army Commendation Medal.
