A nice original World War 1 period National Reserve West Lancashire gilt badge (larger pattern example, 34mm high) consisting of a blue enamel oval title with a gilt King's crown in the voided centre. The reverse bears the maker's details "J.R. Gaunt London" Very good condition with no enamel damage and complete with buttonhole fitting on the reverse,
