Third Reich : Pinback Edelweiss Cap / Lapel-badge.

Pressed aluminium-alloy edelweiss pinback badge approx 25mm across with yellow painted centre. The reverse has a wire pin. No makers marks. Badges such as this were worn both officially and unofficially by a variety of uniformed organisations from the mountainous Alpine regions of Germany and Austria.
