WW1 Army Clasp Knife / Jack-Knife.

WW1 Army jack-knife of the pattern introduced in 1905 and slightly modified in 1913 then used up to WW2 when a new a pattern was introduced. This WW1 type has a blade, marlin spike and tin-opener. The two rubber composite grip-plates are riveted in place. The marlin spike is stamped with what is probably the original owners service number '12558'. There is a copper loop for attaching a lanyard. The springs are nice and tight and everything works. The steel parts show aging and staining and the grips show signs of use and wear with a slight loosening..
