Bronzed medal, 31mm dia., complete with pin-back ribbon, service ribbon-bar and original presentation box which bears details printed on the bottom edge.
The award was established by President Johnson in July 1965 to recognise qualifying service during the Vietnam Wat. The award was retrospective to 1958. Last awards were made in April 1975.
