Third Reich : Reichsarbeitsdient (RAD) Closed-collar Service Tunic for an Arbeitsmann from Gruppe 6 of Arbeitsgau 2 based in Danzig-Westpreussen.

Earth-brown four-pocket tunic with dark-brown collar complete with all buttons, party armband, unit patch (26) and plain black collar-patches. In excellent condition throughout with all original stitching. Very minor moth tracking to the nap in places. The brown plastic buttons on the adjustable cuffs are embossed with Arbeitsdienst design.
Inside the tunic is partially lined with brown material and includes a field-dressing pocket.
The tunic is stamped with manufacturers name "Winterholt, Osnabruck" together with size details and the RAD Bekleidungsamt Braunschweig (Clothing Depot Brunswick) mark. (R.A.D.B.A.Br.) and dated 1939.
