Third Reich : Bund der Kriegsblinden Deutschlands e.V (BKD) Members Pin-back Lapel-badge.

BDK (League of German War Blinded) enameled pin-back lapel-badge, 30mm dia, in black & yellow enamel on bronze. This organisation looked after veterans blinded whilst serving their country. Victims could also be identified by a yellow armband bearing the same black design. If the iron cross was not present then the person was not ex-military. A relatively scarce badge. No manufacturers marks.
Very good condition but with what appears to be slight damage or manufacturing distortion on the edge at the 8 o'clock position.
