Imperial Austro-Hungarian cap-badge of the k.u.k. Yachtgeschwader, the Imperial & Royal Yacht Squadron. This organisation was founded in 1891 under the auspices of Kaiser Franz-Josef 1 as an elite sailing club on the Danube.

Brazil : 1908 Pattern Brazilian Mauser Bayonet with Scabbard.

Good clean bright polished steel blade with its original cross hatching. The single-edged fullered blade is 30cms long. Overall length of bayonet is 43cms and overall length in scabbard 46.5cms. Working stud & catch. The black leather scabbard has brass fittings and, li9ke the bayonet is in excellent condition. No makers mark but serial numbered.
