Pair of British Legion Members Lapel-badges.

British Legion and Royal British Legion members enameled gilt-brass pin-back lapel badges.
Founded in 1921, the Legion was granted the title 'Royal' in 1971 on its 50th anniversary.
The British Legion badge consists of a blue enamel title garter with a separately attached silver lion's head in the centre. The reverse is stamped with the membership number '68755' and has the maker's name J.R.Gaunt, London. It is also stamped 'P'.
The Royal British Legion (ie. post 1971) badge has the addition of a Queen's crown but is unmarked on the reverse.
Both in very good condition with no enamel damage.
