Third Reich : Arbeitsbuch für Ausländer (Work Book for Foreigners).

Standard green labour book for foreign (slave) workers. 15cms x 10.5cms with 38 pages issued to a sixteen-year-old Ostarbeiterin called Lubow Nagornaja who came from the Occupied Eastern Territories and worked at the engineering company of H.C.Fricke GmbH in Bielefeld from December 1942 until the end of March 1945. Her job was a punch or press operator. Her nationality is unconfirmed and she is simply shown as an Ostarbeiterin. She was probably from the Rostov area but was housed in the company's Ostarbeiterlager. The book contains Lubow's photo and a number of entries. It is in excellent condition. What ultimately happened to her is anyone's guess though it is probable she survived the war.
