Silver metal medallion on a Tyne-Tees Regiment neck-ribbon awarded to civilian participants in Exercise Executive Stretch in 2003. The obverse bears the 50 Div ."TT" emblem and on the reverse is engraved "Exercise Executive Stretch June 2003". Exercise Executive Stretch was an annual weekend challenging exercise for business executives aimed at giving them an idea of the training received by their employees who were reservists. Hopefully this would reinforce employer support for the Reserve Forces. 2003 was a particularly important year as large numbers of reservists were being called up for the start of the Iraq campaign. Different TA units organised the event each year, 2003 being by the short-lived Tyne-Tees Regiment who existed from 1999 - 2008 before being re-amalgamated.
The 32mm dia Army Cadet Force medal is unissued and shows the ACF badge on the obverse with a swimming scene on the reverse.
Both medals are in excellent mint condition.
