Imperial : German Bergbau (Mining Association) Shako-plate.

Gilt-brass Imperial crowned eagle holding shield, orb and sceptre. The eagle is curved to fit snugly onto the shako / helmet. The reverse has two elongated fixing lugs/ loops. Wingspan across the curvature is 125mm and if the eagle was flat it would be about 135mm. Overall height 100mm.The fixing lugs are approx. 60mm apart. Excellent condition.
