Brown plastic King's crown cap-badge complete with both brass blade fixings on the reverse along with the makers mark "A. Stanley & Sons, Walsall". There is also a "1.A" reference number.
Raised in 1939, The Pioneer Corps had existed previously in WW1 as The Labour Corps. After WW2 they became The Royal Pioneer Corps.
