Books "East of Malta West of Suez"

An original wartime copy published in 1943 accompanied by a facsimile copy published in 2001.
The facsimile is in 'as new' condition whereas the original copy has lost its paper-cover altogether and is generally worn and has a handwritten note on the title page. The contents are complete.
The original 1943 book was prepared for the Admiralty by the Ministry of Information and published by HM Stationery Office.
"East of Malta West of Suez" is one of a series of books that were published during WW2 with the aim of informing the public on the progress of the war and maintaining a sense of involvement by everyone during the darker days of the war.
The book contains text and numerous black and white photographs.
This is a paperback book, complete but with the cover missing and worn as can be seen in the photos.
