Third Reich : Wehrmacht / Heer "Old Style" Dress / Walking-out Uniform Tunic.
Early pattern four pocket field-grey Infantry Oberschütze's tunic with early lighter-green collar, turn-back cuffs, sloping lower pockets, white-piped six button front. BEVo breast eagle, Oberschütze's rank armbadge, white-backed silver-wire collar patches and dark-green white-piped stitched-in epaulettes with white embroidered regimental number '87' and company numbered buttons bearing '13'. All matching original silver pebbled buttons including the two belt-hook buttons on the back-waist. All insignia and buttons are as originally stitched. Fully lined with internal belt and pocket-slot for a dagger / sword-strap.
There are loops for one award on the left breast pocket.
There are two small holes in the right cuff (see photos) and some very minor signs of moth-tracking on the left sleeve only but no holes and, overall the tunic remains in very fine condition.
I acquired this tunic for my own collection in July 1983.
