Italy : WW2 Collar Badges of the Fascist GNR (Guardia Nazionale Republicana).
Zinc-alloy Republica Sociale Italiana (RSI) badges as worn on the collars by members of the fascist Guardia Nazionale Republicana (GNR) from 1943-45. This has two fixing prongs on the reverse. No makers marks. Scarce insignia.
The GNR continued to fight alongside the Germans in northern Italy 1943-45 after Italy had surrendered to the Allies.
